Işıl Okutgen Doğanay leads Dispute Resolution team and co-leads Contracts and Employment team at KP Law. She is highly experienced in litigation and business disputes with a particular focus on employment matters.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Işıl is specialized in Litigation, Labor Law, Law of Obligations, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law with over 15 years of experience in the field. Prior to joining KP Law in 2019, she worked at multiple law firms and as a sole practitioner.
Her litigation practice mainly includes employment, business and commercial disputes. She serves clients across various industries predominantly in real estate, retail, technology, media and telecom (TMT), construction, textile, petrochemicals and pharmaceutical.
She acts as a solution focused dispute advisor by providing strategic pre-trial advice at the outset, detailed investigations, and effective solutions during legal proceedings. As a competent communicator and mediator, she has been involved in a variety of disputes on contractual and regulatory issues and gained significant experience in labor and employment matters. This experience underpins her successful handling of court proceedings. Her background in providing legal advice for day-to-day operations of organizations enables her to offer a holistic perspective in benefiting from dispute resolution tools.
She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association and an accredited mediator.
