ABOUT
Ekin Kotan Isal serves as Associate Partner at Corporate & Deal Advisory team at KP Law. Her practice is focused on corporate and commercial law including cross border merger and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, intra-group restructurings as well as corporate advisory matters.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ekin advises public and private companies, investors, private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, disposals and corporate restructuring and reorganization matters. Since the early days of her career, she has dealt with sophisticated transactions and general corporate, commercial matters hence developed the ability to analyze complex issues from a broader perspective. She is skilled at evaluating legal risks, understanding clients’ ultimate goals, and helping them decide on the critical course of action for transactional processes.
Both on the transactional and advisory side, her clients range from multinational tier 1 to family businesses, small and medium sized ones across a variety of industries with a particular focus on technology, e-commerce, capital markets and retail.
Benefiting from her thorough experience in corporate advisory, Ekin has an increasing interest in commercial disputes and representing clients in litigation matters.
