ABOUT
Aylin Belir serves as Associate at Corporate & Deal Advisory at KP Law. Her practice is focused on corporate and commercial law including corporate restructuring, merger and acquisitions as well as corporate advisory matters.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Aylin is an attorney-at-law with 4 years of experience in corporate law and M&A transactions. She obtained her LL.M degree on Private Law with her thesis titled “Withdrawal and Squeeze-Out of Shareholders in Closed Joint Stock Companies’ Merger”.
She has specific knowledge and experience in corporate restructuring including merger, partial spin-off, full spin-off, conducting legal due diligence, drafting share transfer and shareholders’ agreement as well as providing legal consultancy to local and multinational companies on their day-to day corporate law matters. She advises also Turkish family businesses in corporate governance.
Her article “Merger of Publicly-Held Joint Stock Companies in the Light of the Capital Market Law and Secondary Legislation” was published in the Istanbul Bar Association Review. She attended various seminars and webinars mainly in the areas of corporate and commercial law. Prior to joining KP Law, she also attended conferences and workshops focused on personal data protection.
She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association since 2017.
