Prof. Dr. Gökyayla has more than 20 years of experience as counsel and arbitrator in numerous ad hoc and administered international arbitral proceedings under the UNCITRAL, ICC, DIAC, ICSID, TOBB and ITOTAM arbitration rules governed by many countries’ laws (including Swiss, German, Turkish, Yemeni, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Qatari, United Arab Emirates, Iraqi, Ethiopian and Romanian law). She is particularly experienced in disputes arising from construction contracts (eg, infrastructure, building, road and energy projects) in Europe, Gulf countries, the Middle East, Africa and CIS countries financed by the European Union, the European Investment Bank, the Asian Development Bank, JBIC, the World Bank etc.

Prof. Gökyayla advises contractors and employers in international construction projects in Turkey and abroad. She also represents parties in Turkish court proceedings related to the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and court decisions. This strategic move is a significant milestone for us as they build upon their capabilities to provide full scope solutions in domestic and international disputes.
